When Motorola
released its power pack Moto G handset flood of rumors were invited along,
particularly for its low-price point. Many believed that Moto G was launched
with the aim of providing a direct and healthy competition to Google’s Nexus,
however soon later people believed that these were solely rumors. However,
Motorola aimed high and released its Moto G handset prices at $179 dollars. The
low price factor was a big cause people assumed that it would not provide the
cutting edge technology or high tech specifications that they longed for.
However, things seemed different as the company’s devices seemed to present
state of the art specifications and features. There are many, who like to
handle simple Smartphone as it is easier to use.
The Moto X is
a power pack device with high end specs and updated and modern features. With
the rising competition, Motorola decided to launch its second powerful device
in the market, Moto X2. More commonly known as Moto X+1 handset, the device was
launched this year in September, 2014. Here’s a short comparison presented
between Motorola’s Moto G and Moto X2.
Moto X2
MotoX2
handset guarantees to present a superior performance with a Snapdragon
processor running at 2.2 GHZ of speed. Although, the chipset of this model is
not the latest from Snapdragon, in terms of performance its notable clock speed
oath to present great results.
Its
predecessor comes with a 2GB RAM, and Motorola striving hard to rule the market
has decided to present its very new Moto X2 with a 3GB RAM. The superior RAM
will certainly allow users to store more and would certainly augment multi tasking
functions. The Moto X had faced serious criticism for not having an external
memory card slot, and thus the company has introduced memory card slot in their
latest Moto X2 model. It also arrived with some unbelievable features including
32 GB internal storage capacity, and believe it or not it was priced at $500.
Moto G
Although,
this handset comprises of a powerful and trustworthy processor, all its users
has craved for a more power packed performance. The handset is equipped with
quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1.2 GHz of speed, and a graphic
processor of Adreno 305. The 1GB RAM has been well accompanied with GPU and
CPU. A major problem here is that, the handset can handle basic level
operations, but hesitates to function properly while handling intensive tasks.
There are two
types of the same model available in terms of memory storage. Both the variants
share the same features with the sole difference being its storage, 16 GB and
8GB. For those who like having a simple user experience might go for the 8GB
storage, whereas those who crave for more would prefer having cloud storage.
There are
several differences amongst both the Smartphone; however Moto G being priced
only at $179 is best for those who wish to have a simple Smartphone experience.
Its successor, Moto X+1 present several hi-tech features and provide a more
advanced experience. So what’s your pick?
